Cindy's Throws carries a wonderful selection of Helen Vladykina art in woven tapestries, tapestry throws, blankets, wall art and wall hangings. Helen Vladykina was born and meticulously trained as an artist in Russia. During long, white winters, while living in northern Siberia, she dreamed of foreign countries – warm, bright, and beautiful, teeming with exotic birds and flowers. In snowy Siberia these images inspired her to paint nature in its brightest – depicting colorful rainforest flowers and creatures. In 1991 her dreams came true when she came to the U.S. with her husband, son and mother. She settled in a home in the beautiful Bay Area and surrounded herself with tropical flowers, ethnic pottery, books, and classical music. Cindy’s Throws proudly presents Helen Vladykina in 100% cotton throws, furniture throws and wall hangings made in the USA. Afghans are machine washable and tumble dry.
